Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

A jet transporting Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet touched down based on established safety measures and all passengers, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," an official representative stated in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to Brussels at the time.

This event does not mark the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to Washington after encountering a mechanical fault.
